CLOUT ET CETERA HIGHLIGHTS:
Among her vast number of professional experiences with Clout Et Cetera, Jude served for two years on the board of directors of the 23rd Street Association in Manhattan and created online association health plans for their self-employed members and small business owners. Along with experience as a board member for community and not-for-profit groups, and a small business advisor, Jude has had a myriad of speaking engagements for such organizations as: the NYU Center for Career, Education, & Life Planning, the Annual Conference of the Wisconsin Association of Occupational Health Nurses, and the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce.
In the past, she also developed unique trend & lifestyle seminars for Saks Fifth Avenue's executive trainee program, Baruch College, New York University's School of Continuing Education & Professional Studies, and the Fashion Institute of Technology's Professional Studies Program. Her 'The Re-Invention of Cool: New York City as the World's Style Lab' was internationally renowned and featured by Japan Airlines Magazine and elsewhere. Along with her many seminars, Jude also facilitated several training and mastermind sessions including an empowering workshop for women entitled 'Financial Finesse & The Fundamentals of Clout'.
Fraidy's Friends & Fraidy's Fund has been helping to raise money for the 'little guy' support groups in need, particularly New York City Rescued Kitties, for over a decade. Fraidy, as named by co-op building workers, was a truly wonderful red tabby who lived in a basement on the lower east side of Manhattan for what was probably most of his life. Jude, along with her husband Adrian, adopted Fraidy four months after losing their beloved Frankie, adopted at 10 months from the ASPCA, to old age and illness. He was over 20 years old when he passed.
Fraidy unexpectedly fell gravely ill and sadly passed away at an estimated 11-13 years of age after only 14 months of living like a veritable lion king. He loved to look out the windows, especially during snow falls, and could happily sit for hours watching the world around him. He posed for Jude, with the resulting photo below, only months before he died. He left a legacy that is still to reach it's full potential.
Jude's dream is to make Fraidy's Friends into a nonprofit fundraising resource, Fraidy's Fund, in aid of children and animals, particularly the unwanted and abused. The larger it grows, the more it can help. It's amazing how one little NYC street cat could instill such a huge inspiration.
